WHO ARE WE?

The RSS is a directorate of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, that delivers a range of enabling services, such as workforce planning and recruitment, digital health, finance, infrastructure, procurement, and clinical governance support. Our purpose is to strengthen and sustain healthcare delivery in rural and regional areas by providing consistent, productive, and specialist support functions to the six regional local health networks (LHNs) across South Australia. We work across 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, as well as 3 Adelaide offices.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Do you have experience coordinating projects, programs or initiatives, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes?
- Can you build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including health services, universities, training providers and government agencies?
- Are you skilled at researching, analysing and interpreting workforce, education or training data to identify opportunities for improvement and support strategic decision-making?
- Do you have strong communication and consultation skills,



with the ability to prepare reports, briefing papers and presentations, and facilitate stakeholder engagement across multiple organisations?
- Can you work collaboratively to drive continuous improvement, support innovative training and workforce solutions, and contribute to positive outcomes for rural healthcare communities across South Australia?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

You will……….

- Lead and support the delivery of Rural Generalist Program initiatives, helping to strengthen rural medical training pathways and workforce outcomes across South Australia.
- Coordinate complex statewide projects, training activities and stakeholder engagement processes to ensure objectives, milestones and quality standards are achieved.
- Analyse workforce, recruitment and training data to identify trends, inform strategic planning and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with Local Health Networks, universities, specialist colleges, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefing papers and project documentation, while monitoring project progress, managing risks and contributing to the ongoing evaluation and success of the Rural Generalist Program.
