About the role

You will work one-to-one with children and young people with a range of developmental, sensory, motor and participation differences. Depending on each child's individual goals, sessions may incorporate sensory processing and regulation support, fine and gross motor development, core strength and postural control, motor planning and coordination, emotional regulation, interoception and body awareness, executive functioning, self-care and daily living skills, school readiness and participation, play and social participation, parent education and practical strategies, and sensory-motor and developmental movement activities. You will collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Our St Kilda Road clinic is located within a professional building, with access to both indoor and outdoor therapy spaces. This gives clinicians flexibility to choose the environment that best supports each child and their goals. Therapy might take place in a structured indoor space, through movement-based activities, or outdoors where children can work on regulation, coordination, confidence, participation and functional skills in a more natural setting. Sessions are responsive, adaptable and adapted to the child in front of you.
