Lead the Restart of Edna May

Forrestania Resources (ASX: FRS) is seeking an experienced and driven Processing Superintendent to play a key leadership role in the restart of the Edna May Gold Operation. As Edna May transitions from care and maintenance back to production, this is a unique opportunity to build an operation from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a agile environment, can work autonomously, and has a proven track record of developing teams, systems and operational performance.

This position will be central to commissioning, ramp-up and establishing a safe, reliable and high-performing processing operation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Processing Superintendent will lead day-to-day processing operations, ensuring the safe and efficient restart of the plant while building a strong operational culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape operating standards, recruit and develop personnel, and establish the foundations for long-term operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the safe commissioning, startup and ramp-up of the processing plant.
- Build and develop a high-performing operations team.
- Establish operational systems, procedures and work practices.
- Drive safety leadership and foster a strong safety culture.
- Deliver production targets across throughput, recovery and costs.
- Manage shift teams and provide coaching and development.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Metallurgy and Technical Services.
- Monitor plant performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.




- Ensure compliance with environmental, statutory and company requirements.
- Develop and maintain operational budgets and production plans.

About You

You are a collaborative and practical leader who enjoys building successful teams and operations from the ground up.
To be successful, you will possess:

- Demonstrated experience in a Processing Superintendent or Senior Processing role within gold operations.
- Strong knowledge of crushing, grinding, gravity recovery and CIL/CIP processing circuits.
- Previous experience in plant commissioning, restarts or operational ramp-ups highly regarded.
- Proven leadership capability with a focus on safety, engagement and accountability.
- Willing to get SSE and act in the role if required for leave coverage
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced operating environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead from the front.
