BEP Pumps and Irrigation are a Small Family-Owned local business specializing in Pump Sales, Repairs and Maintenance based in our Workshop Facility in Sarina 4737 and we are currently seeking suitable candidates for the following role,

Counter Sales Person/Junior

As part of the team at BEP, you’ll be the first person our customers see when they walk through the door (or over the phone).

From helping customers find the right product, to keeping our store looking fresh and welcoming, no two days are ever the same.

Working primarily from our retail showroom, you will manage customer enquiries, build relationships, provide practical product solutions and identify opportunities for new business.

We are looking for someone who can bring customer service experience, initiative and attention to detail to the role while developing their technical knowledge across pumps, irrigation and water products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Drive retail and trade sales

- Build relationships with new and existing customers

- Identify and follow up sales opportunities

- Provide practical product advice and solutions

- Prepare quotes and customer orders

- Handle enquiries in person, by phone and email

- Source products, pricing and availability

- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers

- Assist with pump and irrigation quotations





- Assist with stock control and showroom presentation

- Work closely with the owners and part of a tight-knit, reliable and supportive team

- Provide leads to our project sales teams from customer enquiries

About You

We are looking for an experienced salesperson who is motivated, practical and customer focused.

Ideally, you will have:

- Valid driver's licence

- Retail, trade counter, industrial or technical sales experience

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

- Drive and confidence to develop recent business

- Practical or mechanical aptitude

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through

- Good organizational and problem-solving skills

- Confidence using computers and business systems

- Initiative and a willingness to take responsibility

- A desire to learn and develop your technical knowledge

- Forklift ticket

Experience with pumps, irrigation or plumbing would be highly regarded, although relevant technical or trade sales experience will also be considered.
