ACEREZ is a consortium, comprised of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy which has been appointed Network Operator by EnergyCo to design, deliver, operate and maintain the transmission line network for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ).

The new transmission infrastructure, which will combine high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure, will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers in the CWO REZ to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW while helping to meet the state’s newly legislated Net Zero targets.

The Opportunity

The Technology PMO Lead is a senior individual contributor responsible for program finance, portfolio governance, project portfolio management and performance reporting across the Technology Delivery Program. The role provides an integrated view of financial performance, delivery progress, risks, dependencies, demand and capacity, enabling informed decision-making and timely issue resolution. Working closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, business stakeholders and delivery partners, the role maintains portfolio controls and governance from demand intake through to project delivery, supporting successful technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technology program financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, financial analysis, reconciliations and funding oversight.
- Maintain portfolio governance, integrated planning, baselines, change control and performance monitoring across technology initiatives.
- Administer and optimise project portfolio management (PPM) tools, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy and effective portfolio visibility.
- Provide delivery assurance through proactive management of risks, issues, assumptions,



dependencies (RAID), vendor performance and portfolio health.
- Partner with business stakeholders to manage technology demand, prioritisation, capacity planning and portfolio decision-making.
- Support the development and mobilisation of new initiatives, including business cases, procurement activities, funding submissions and governance requirements.
- Produce executive-level portfolio reporting and insights covering financial, delivery, resource, risk and demand performance.
- Identify trends, risks and emerging issues, providing recommendations and ensuring timely escalation and resolution to support successful portfolio outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in project, program, portfolio management or accounting are desirable.
- Strong experience in Technology PMO, portfolio management, program controls or program finance.
- Proven financial management capability, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting.
- Strong portfolio governance, planning, risk, issue and dependency management skills.
- Experience with project portfolio management (PPM) tools, reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to translate complex financial and delivery information into clear business insights.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, influencing and decision-support skills.
