Qualified Electrician & Apprentice Electrician

Qualified electrician: $45–$55 per hour + super

We’re a small team looking for a qualified electrician and an apprentice electrician to join us, carrying out residential service and maintenance in Mount Gambier and surrounds.

We’re looking for reliable people with a great attitude. Residential experience is welcome, but we’re happy to teach the skills to someone willing to learn.

The roles include

- Electrical fault finding and repairs.

- Lighting, power point and switchboard work.

- Smoke alarm installation, testing and maintenance.

- Completing job notes, photos and compliance documentation using Simpro.

- Communicating professionally with customers, tenants and our office.

Our apprentice will assist with these tasks under supervision while developing their skills.

What we’re looking for

Qualified electrician:

- Current SA electrical worker’s licence and driver’s licence.

- Residential electrical experience preferred but not essential.

- Able to work independently within their experience, with support available.

- Willingness to support and mentor an apprentice.

Apprentice electrician:

- Open to a new starter or an existing apprentice.

- Current driver’s licence required.

- A good attitude,



reliability and a willingness to learn.

- Willingness to take direction, work safely and develop their trade skills.

For both roles:

- Honesty, respect and pride in your workmanship.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

What we offer

- Full-time employment.

- Qualified electrician: $45–$55 per hour + super, with the upper end suited to someone with solid residential maintenance, fault-finding and apprentice mentoring skills.

- Apprentice electrician: applicable award wages + super, based on apprenticeship year and eligibility.

- Company vehicle for the qualified electrician, with personal use and a fuel card covering both work and personal travel.
