The early years are some of the most important in a child's life. As a Trainee Educator,



you will complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working full-time alongside experienced educators and teachers.

This traineeship allows you to earn while you learn, gain hands-on experience, and build the foundations for a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education. It can also provide a pathway to further study, including a Diploma or university qualification.

About the Role

This role carries a high level of responsibility in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of every child.

You will:

- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment

- Contribute to a culture of child safety, reflective practice, and continuous improvement

- Learn from experienced educators and teachers while completing your qualification

- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

- Participate in meaningful play experiences and learning opportunities

- Contribute to inclusive and sustainable learning environments

- Develop your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework

A Great Trainee Will...

- Be caring, enthusiastic, responsible, and eager to learn

- Enjoy engaging with children through play, creativity, discovery, and exploration

- Be willing to get involved in messy play, outdoor adventures, stories, songs,



and imaginative experiences

- Be confident building positive relationships with children and families

- Demonstrate initiative and a solid work ethic

- Work collaboratively as part of a professional team

- Be open to learning from experienced educators and continuously developing their skills

About You

You will:

- Be 16 years of age or older (completion of Year 12 is preferred)

- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

- Be willing and excited to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, including upholding Child Safe Standards and reporting obligations

- Maintain safe, respectful, and professional interactions with children at all times

- Have the ability to manage study requirements alongside employment

- Hold or be able to obtain a valid and verified Working with Children Check (if over 18 years of age)

- Provide a minimum of two professional or character references
