Korcelta is a WA SMP contractor run by people who've come up through the tools. With more than 100 tradespeople currently on hire across WA, we supply riggers, trades and TAs to SMP crews across mining, oil & gas and processing plant projects, and we have work available now.

The work

- Mining, oil & gas and processing plant projects across WA

- FIFO (ex Perth) and local Perth work

- Shutdowns, short-term assignments and long-term project work

- 12-hour shifts, day and night shift available

- Casual engagement — duration depends on the project

Riggers

- Rigging, slinging and directing loads for structural steel, mechanical equipment and piping installation

- Inspecting rigging gear and securing loads to approved lift plans

- Working with crane crews and SMP trades to carry out lifts safely

- Structural or construction rigging background? We'd like to hear from you.

Trade Assistants

- Supporting boilermakers, pipe fitters and mechanical fitters on SMP works

- Material handling, fire watch, hole watch and general site support

Essential — applications without these will not be considered

- Minimum 1 year site experience (mining, construction, oil & gas or process plant)

- Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry (nationally accredited, within 2 years)

- Gas Test Atmospheres and Basic Fire

- EWP ticket (HRWL WP preferred)

- White Card

- Riggers: HRWL Dogging and Intermediate Rigging (RI)



minimum; two recent, contactable supervisor references

- Perth-based (FIFO flights are ex Perth)

- Full Australian working rights

- Current driver's licence

- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing

Desirable

- Riggers: HRWL RA; fixed plant or shutdown experience

- TAs: Dogging, forklift or telehandler tickets

- Current National Police Clearance (within 12 months), or able to obtain quickly

- Existing site inductions

- Current medical and D&A; — fast-tracked
