About the role

You will provide person-centred, high-quality support to NDIS participants, helping them live independently, achieve their goals and actively participate in their communities.

Key responsibilities
Providing person-centred support in accordance with individual support plans
Supporting personal care and daily living activities
Assisting participants with community access and social participation
Supporting independence, skill development and achievement of NDIS goals
Supporting participants with medication and health-related needs where trained and authorised
Following Positive Behaviour Support Plans and participant-specific strategies
Maintaining participant dignity, privacy, choice and control
Completing accurate progress notes and required documentation
Identifying and reporting incidents, risks, hazards and safeguarding concerns
Working collaboratively with families, support coordinators,



allied health specialists and the Aroona Care team

About you
Compassionate, respectful and genuinely passionate about supporting people with disability
Reliable, punctual and skilled
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Strong communicators with positive documentation skills
Committed to participant rights, dignity, choice and independence
Able to follow support plans, policies and procedures
Willing to undertake required training and competency assessments
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check, where applicable
First Aid & CPR
