As a growing family business in the food ingredients industry, and we are looking for a reliable, practical and enthusiastic person to join our close-knit team as we continue to expand.
This is a hands-on, varied role involving production, warehousing, quality and laboratory support. You don't need to have done exactly this job before — we are looking for the right attitude, a willingness to learn and someone who takes pride in doing a good job.
You will learn how to:
Manufacture and compound food ingredients
Operate production equipment
Pick, pack and manage warehouse stock
Assist with quality testing and laboratory work
Work within food safety and quality systems
Contribute to the day-to-day success of a growing business
What we're looking for
A positive, can-do attitude
Reliable and willing to learn
Good attention to detail
Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work
Able to work independently but also as part of a small team
Valuable communication skills
A forklift licence would be an advantage, but training may be available for the right person
Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, food production or a similar workplace is helpful — but attitude and the desire to learn are just as important.
