Aplus Agency is currently recruiting on behalf of Meningie Hotel for an experienced and motivated Chef. This is an exciting prospect to join an established hospitality business committed to delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and presenting quality meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, consistency and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals.
Develop and contribute to seasonal menus and specials.
Supervise food preparation and ensure consistency of dishes.
Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
Assist with ordering, stock rotation and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with food safety,



hygiene and WHS requirements.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff where required.
Work collaboratively to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:
Minimum one (1) year of relevant full time experience as a Chef.
Relevant commercial cookery qualification is highly regarded.
Experience working in a commercial kitchen.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
