Located right on the beachfront at vibrant Dee Why Beach, we are a busy, community-focused cafe known for great coffee, fresh food, and friendly beachside vibes. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming space for locals, surfers, and visitors alike. Behind the counter, we operate as a tight-knit, supportive, and energetic team that works hard and backs each other up every day.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, adaptable, and upbeat Cafe Allrounder to join our team.

In this role, no two hours look exactly the same—you’ll jump in wherever you’re needed most to keep the cafe humming during peak beach rushes.

What you’ll be doing:
Coffee & Drinks: Making espresso beverages on the machine, pumping out orders efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Customer Experience: Welcoming regulars, taking orders accurately at the till, and delivering rapid, friendly service.
Floor & Service: Running food and coffees to tables, clearing and sanitising tables, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
Support & Operations: Washing dishes, restocking milk/supplies, opening/closing tasks, and helping team members whenever things get busy.

Who We’re Looking For
Experience:



Prior barista/coffee-making experience in a quick-paced Australian cafe setting is essential.
Allrounder Mindset: A proactive, "get stuck in" attitude—you’re equally happy pulling shots, running food, or clearing a mountain of plates.
People Skills: High energy, genuine warmth, and outstanding customer service skills.
Pace & Reliability: Comfortable handling high-volume weekend rushes and working productively under pressure.
Availability: Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) plus adaptable weekday shifts.
