Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Maternity Leave Cover)

Our Lenah Valley centre is committed to providing high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children thrive, and educators are supported to excel.

We are seeking a passionate and committed Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our Aura Early Learning Lenah Valley team on a maternity leave contract. This is a fixed-term position, with the opportunity for the contract to be extended, providing the successful applicant with the chance to become a valued member of our team beyond the initial maternity leave period, subject to service needs.

What you’ll do
Deliver engaging, play-based educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
Support children’s learning journeys through observation, documentation, and planning
Build meaningful partnerships with families and the community
Collaborate with fellow educators and provide guidance to ensure best practice




Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and service policies

What we’re looking for
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to creating positive, inclusive, and secure learning environments
