About the role
Looking to upskill and expand your ultrasound experience?
This opportunity may suit you if you are:
A qualified sonographer looking to broaden your scanning skills and gain experience across a wider range of examinations; or
An advanced trainee sonographer currently enrolled in an accredited ultrasound course, with some practical scanning experience, who is looking for further supervised clinical exposure.
Depending on your current level of experience, you will have opportunities to gain hands-on exposure across general, obstetric, small parts, musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound, while progressively developing your confidence and technical skills.
You will work alongside experienced sonographers who can provide practical guidance, supervision and ongoing support as you progress.
This role is particularly suited to someone who is motivated to learn, enjoys hands-on scanning and wants to expand their skill set in a supportive diagnostic imaging setting.
What You’ll Do
Perform general and specialised ultrasounds (training & supervision provided as appropriate)
Ensure patient comfort and maintain quality standards
Collaborate with experienced sonographers & radiologists
Assist with bookings and reporting
Requirements
ASAR accreditation (or eligibility)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
