The Common Room Café Project in Stirling is looking for a passionate, reliable and energetic Cook to join our team!

We’re a busy and vibrant café that takes pride in serving delicious, fresh food and creating a great experience for our customers. We’re looking for someone who loves food, enjoys working in a rapid-paced kitchen and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality meals.

About the role

We’re looking for a Cook who:
Has previous café, restaurant or commercial kitchen experience
Is passionate about preparing fresh, delicious food
Can work confidently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
Has excellent organisation and time-management skills
Takes pride in presentation, quality and consistency
Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
Works well under pressure and as part of a team
Is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude

What you’ll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of café-style meals




Preparing ingredients and assisting with daily kitchen prep
Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Contributing ideas and helping maintain a positive kitchen environment
