CASUAL CHEF WANTED

We’re looking for an experienced Casual Chef to join our kitchen team at Deoro By The Bay in Hastings.

We need someone who is confident across both grill and larder, can stay organised during busy services, and is happy to get stuck into prep and day-to-day kitchen operations.

The right person will:
Have solid experience working grill and larder sections
Be confident working under pressure in a busy kitchen
Have solid prep skills and good kitchen organisation. With a food safety certificate.
Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency and cleanliness
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Bring ideas to the table and help create weekly specials
Be interested in contributing to menu development and new dishes
Be reliable,



punctual and have a valuable attitude

This isn’t just a role where you’ll be standing on one section doing the same thing every shift. We want someone who enjoys food, has some creativity and wants to be involved in what comes out of the kitchen.

Casual hours available with a mix of weekday, weekend and function work.
