General Labourer

Abaxa is looking for an experienced General Labourer to join our growing field team.

You’ll work across major infrastructure, utilities and construction projects, safely exposing underground services using non-destructive excavation techniques.

What You’ll Do
Operate vacuum excavation trucks and equipment safely
Pothole and expose underground services
Work around live underground infrastructure
Complete plant pre-starts, SWMS, JHAs and site documentation
Maintain equipment and high standards of site housekeeping
Work alongside Utility Locators, Survey Technicians and project teams
Deliver a great experience for our customers

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Construction White Card
Experience working around underground services
Strong safety mindset
Reliable,



positive and team-focused attitude

Highly regarded:
Vacuum excavation experience
RIICCM303 Conduct Vacuum Excavations
MR or HR Licence
Civil construction or utility locating experience
First Aid & CPR
Traffic Management
Water Corporation or Western Power inductions
