Casual Civil Construction Trainer & Assessor

Mascot, Sydney NSW | Casual | 2–5 days per week

GEM Training is looking for an experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our growing team.

You’ll be mainly based at our Mascot training site, with travel to client sites across Sydney as required.

We’re looking for someone with a broad range of competencies across civil machinery, safety training and traffic control.

The Role
Deliver classroom and practical training
Conduct assessments
Complete all associated assessment documentation and RTO paperwork
Travel to client sites when required
Maintain accurate, compliant training records

What We’re Looking For
Current TAE qualification
Relevant and current competencies
Recent civil construction industry experience




Experience across plant, safety and/or traffic control training
Robust communication and organisational skills
Current driver’s licence
Availability approximately 2–5 days per week
High Risk Work training competencies are a major advantage, particularly Forklift and EWP

A broad scope of competencies is highly desirable, although you do not need to hold every unit.
