Casual Pastry Chefs – New Bakery Opening

We’re opening a brand-new bakery and are looking for a team of Casual Pastry Chefs to join us from the beginning.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new team, help establish a great kitchen culture and work with quality products in a fast-paced bakery environment.

About the role

As a Casual Pastry Chef, you will assist with the preparation, production and finishing of a range of pastry and bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and presentation.

You’ll be joining a new bakery team and will have the opportunity to help shape the way we work from day one.

What we’re looking for
Previous pastry, bakery or relevant commercial kitchen experience
Passion for producing high-quality pastry and bakery products
Solid attention to detail
Good organisation and time-management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Reliability and punctuality




Availability for casual shifts, including early mornings and weekends where required
Food safety knowledge and relevant qualifications are highly regarded
