We are looking for an experienced, fast and reliable Barista to join our busy café team in Main Beach.

The successful applicant will be confident working in a high-volume café environment and able to maintain excellent coffee quality during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare consistently high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages
Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
Dial in coffee and monitor grind, extraction and coffee quality throughout the day
Steam milk quickly and consistently with valuable texture
Prepare multiple coffee orders at once while maintaining accuracy
Keep the coffee station clean, organised and fully stocked
Communicate clearly with FOH staff and assist the team during busy periods
Restock milk, cups, coffee beans and other bar supplies
Follow cleaning, hygiene and food-safety procedures
Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers





What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a barista in a busy café
Strong espresso and milk-steaming skills
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
Comfortable handling a high volume of coffee orders
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Available for early morning and weekend shifts
Able to remain calm and organised during busy service

Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 44.0 per week
