About the role

Chatr is seeking a Social Worker or Counselor to deliver versatile, person-centred support to individuals navigating complex social issues including mental health challenges, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), domestic violence, and housing instability. You will work within a team that prioritises trauma-informed care and client-centred approaches to create meaningful change.

Key responsibilities
Deliver case management, counselling, and advocacy services to individuals facing social and mental health challenges
Collaborate with community organizations and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
Empower clients by helping them navigate housing, AOD, domestic violence, and other critical issues
Adapt your approach to provide flexible, client-led care that makes a lasting difference

About you
Proven experience in social work or counselling,



with solid case management and community engagement skills
Deep knowledge of mental health, trauma-informed care, AOD, domestic violence, housing, and social services
Degree in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
AASW membership (for social workers) or equivalent for counsellors
Driver Licence (Required)
Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)
Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Geraldton WA before starting work
