Blackout Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join the kitchen team on a full-time basis. This is a long-term opportunity for someone responsible about their craft who wants to grow with a rapid-paced, high-standard venue specialising in Modern Middle Eastern & Indian-inspired cuisine.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and execute high-quality dishes
Maintain consistency in presentation, taste, and portion control
Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
Manage prep, stock rotation, and minimise wastage
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
About you
Diploma in hospitality is mandatory
Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef
Strong understanding of flavour profiles, presentation, and kitchen operations
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Weekend availability is mandatory
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment
Robust work ethic and attention to detail
