IGA Mandurah is looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused leader who can take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our supermarket and lead our team to deliver excellent customer service, strong sales and a well-presented store.

About the Role:

As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing staff, maintaining high presentation standards and ensuring our customers receive a great shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the supermarket
Lead, motivate and manage a team of retail staff
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer enquiries professionally
Manage staff rosters, attendance and daily team requirements
Ensure the store is clean, well-presented and fully stocked
Monitor stock levels, ordering, replenishment and merchandising
Minimise stock loss, wastage and operational costs
Implement promotions, specials and seasonal campaigns
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve results
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and company procedures




Maintain high standards across grocery, fresh food, deli and other departments
Train and develop team members
Work closely with the owners/management team to achieve store targets

The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in a supermarket, grocery or retail management role
Robust leadership and people-management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Good knowledge of retail operations, stock control and merchandising
Ability to manage staff and work effectively in a quick-paced environment
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
A strong focus on achieving sales and operational targets

Supermarket or IGA experience will be highly regarded.
