An opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Manager to join a growing engineering consultancy in Adelaide. This is a senior role combining technical leadership, project delivery, team management and client development.

You will play a key role in growing the civil engineering capability, delivering quality outcomes for clients and helping shape the future direction of the business.

The Role
Lead and manage the civil engineering team across a diverse range of projects.
Oversee civil design and project delivery from concept through to completion.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.
Manage project budgets, resources, programmes and quality.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the South Australian market.
Prepare proposals, fee submissions and tenders.
Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes.
Assist with recruitment, team development and building the civil capability within Adelaide.

About You




Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
Significant experience within an engineering consultancy.
Solid experience across civil design and project delivery.
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
Solid understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry requirements.
Established relationships across the Adelaide engineering, property or infrastructure market.
Commercially minded with a strong understanding of client management and business development.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
RPEQ/CPENG or equivalent professional accreditation will be highly regarded.
