Our client, a leading precast concrete manufacturer is looking for a switched-on QA Labourer to join the night shift team.

This is a outstanding opportunity for an experienced labourer looking to take the next step into a role with more responsibility.
The position is still hands-on, but rather than purely labouring, you'll also be responsible for checking finished precast panels against drawings and specifications, completing QA paperwork and helping coordinate the movement and storage of panels.

The role:
Carrying out post-pour QA checks on precast concrete panels.
Checking panels against plans, drawings and specifications.
Identifying defects or issues with finished panels.
Completing QA paperwork and production documentation.
Assisting with stripping precast panels.
Assisting with lifting and moving panels.
Managing the movement and storage of finished panels.
Keeping the panel storage area organised.
Working closely with the production and factory teams.
Assisting with general factory and production duties as required.

About you:

We're not necessarily looking for someone from a dedicated QA background.

This role would suit a good labourer who is switched on, can read drawings and wants more responsibility.

What we are looking for:
Labouring experience within precast, concrete, construction or manufacturing
The ability to read plans and drawings
Good attention to detail
Confidence completing basic paperwork and documentation
A practical, hands-on approach
Valuable organisational skills
A strong attitude towards safety
Reliability and the ability to work effectively on night shift

Previous precast experience would be highly regarded, although candidates from other relevant construction or manufacturing backgrounds will also be considered.

The Opportunity:

If you're looking for a role that's more than just labouring, this is an opportunity to develop experience across quality, drawings, production and panel handling while remaining hands-on.
For the right person, it's a chance to take on greater responsibility and continue developing within a busy precast manufacturing workplace.
