OCS is looking for a positive and detailed individual with a spring in their step to work as a Pavement Cleaner in Napier
FULL TRAINING will be provided: However prior cleaning experience will be an advantage.

Pavement Cleaner Duties
A pavement cleaner is generally responsible for keeping footpaths, walkways, and public areas clean, secure, and presentable. Typical duties include:
· Sweeping and cleaning pavements, footpaths, and walkways.
· Removing litter, leaves, dirt, weeds, and other debris.
· Removing chewing gum, stains, and other marks where required.
· Cleaning around car parks, kerbs, and public facilities.
· Using cleaning equipment such as brooms, pressure washers, blowers, and litter-picking tools.
· Following workplace health and safety procedures.
· Wearing appropriate protective clothing and using equipment safely.
· Working outdoors in different weather conditions.




· Keeping records of completed cleaning tasks when required.
· Working cooperatively with supervisors and other cleaning or maintenance staff.

Requirements:
· Have your own transport
· Be able to communicate verbal and written English
· Be able to carry out moderate to heavy labour
· Be well presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
· Be able to follow instructions
· Have an eye for detail
· Be able to pass Ministry of Justice checks and any other relevant security checks
