About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for a full-function role, offering a permanent position. The ideal candidate is someone who is autonomous and comes with end-to-end payroll expertise, ready to take the next step in their career. You will be looking after 2x Payroll Officers.

Responsibilities:
Managing end-to-end payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly & monthly basis (for permanent and casual staff) (Approx. 1000 employees)
Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
Processing new hires, terminations, status changes etc.
Assisting with key payroll projects




Identifying process improvements
Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations, and reports
Partnering and developing robust internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
Working collaboratively and as a team across departments.
Mentoring the wider payroll team (2x staff)
