2027 Apprenticeship Opportunities at Batchfire (Callide Mine) in Biloela

Batchfire (Callide Mine), in collaboration with Apprentices and Trainees Queensland, is excited to announce our 2027 Apprenticeship Intake. We are offering several apprenticeship opportunities in the following trades: Electrical, Auto-Electrical, Boilermaking.

The above apprenticeships will include both theoretical and practical learning, along with continual support and mentoring throughout your apprenticeship.

Requirements:
Must reside in the Biloela region prior to commencement (essential )




Valid Driver’s Licence or reliable transportation (essential )
Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical (essential )
Successful completion of Year 12 (desirable)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Passing grades in Maths and English (Electrical applicants: Maths B and Physics are highly regarded but not essential)

Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
Skilled appearance
Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
Patient, tactful, and diplomatic
