This role combines the responsibilities of both a Sandwich Hand and a Kitchenhand, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen workplace and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.
You'll be crafting an array of fresh sandwiches while also supporting broader kitchen operations - ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the back of house.

What you will do?
Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
Conduct
temperature and quality checks
,
effectively managing cross-contamination
to e
nsure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
Support kitchen
team members
in
establishing
and sustaining an
organised
and efficient workspace
Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes,



utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management,
operating
a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals
Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment,
showcasing
excellent food presentation skills
More about you
Previous experience in a sandwich hand or kitchenhand, preferred
Food Safety Certificate
Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
Must be available for early morning shifts, with production start times from 5:00am and kitchen shifts from 8:00am.
