Our client is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a large-scale iron ore operation based at Cape Preston in the Pilbara.

This is an excellent chance to secure ongoing FIFO work and join an established fixed-plant maintenance team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, consisting of one week of day shift, one week of night shift and one week off.

Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining, repairing and installing fixed-plant equipment
Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing preventative and corrective maintenance
Supporting planned shutdowns and scheduled maintenance
Working collaboratively with tradespeople and the wider maintenance team
Following site procedures and maintaining a robust commitment to safety





ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (WP)
Working at Heights certificate
Confined Space Entry certificate
Construction White Card
Valid C Class driver’s licence
Full Australian working rights
Ability to remain clean shaven and wear a respirator mask, such as a 3M 7500 or equivalent

DESIRABLE
High Risk Work Licence – Basic Rigging (RB) or higher
High Risk Work Licence – Dogging (DG)
First Aid / CPR
Previous FIFO or mining experience
