Our client is seeking experienced Crane Operators / Riggers to join a large-scale iron ore operation based at Cape Preston in the Pilbara.
This is an excellent prospect to secure ongoing FIFO work and join an established maintenance and shutdown team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, consisting of one week of day shift, one week of night shift and one week off.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating mobile cranes and Franna pick-and-carry units across maintenance and shutdown activities
Lifting and positioning equipment and mechanical components alongside rigging crews
Completing pre-start checks and daily plant inspections
Maintaining protected exclusion zones and following approved lift plans
Supporting shutdown activities and performing rigging tasks as directed
Working collaboratively with tradespeople and the wider maintenance team
Following site procedures and maintaining a robust commitment to safety
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
High Risk Work Licence – Non-slewing Mobile Crane (CN)
High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform (WP)
Working at Heights certificate
Confined Space Entry certificate
Construction White Card
Current driver’s licence
Full Australian working rights
Ability to remain clean shaven and wear a respirator mask, such as a 3M 7500 or equivalent
DESIRABLE
High Risk Work Licence – Slewing Mobile Crane (CO)
High Risk Work Licence – Basic Rigging (RB) or higher, with Advanced Rigging (RA) preferred
High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
HR driver’s licence or above
First Aid / CPR
Previous FIFO or fixed-plant experience
