Analyse and conduct research on managed funds products within the relevant asset class as per the Annual Review Cycle, under the guidance and direction of Senior Investment Analysts and Sector Managers.
Provide research support to the Managed Funds Research team.
Undertake reviews of Investment Managers as assigned by the Sector Manager and in conjunction with other Analysts – collecting and synthesizing written information, assessing the merits of products and preparing research reports covering people and resources, investment style and objectives, research approach, portfolio construction and risk management.
Prepare Fund Profile, Fund Viewpoint, Fund Review and other research reports for recent and existing managed funds products, and other investment review and outlook reports across asset classes.
Communicate with external clients to address specific queries and needs.
Contribute to the broader Lonsec Research team – Provide content to the daily bulletin email and being involved in the broader business.
