About us:

Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.

About your role:
Provide leadership in problem solving and setting standards for a defined practice area.
Lead the implementation of programs through effective use of teams, establishing explicit plans, timelines and specific activities.
Effectively manage self, and in collaboration with Nurse Educators and other Nurse Unit Managers / Clinical Nurse Consultants, develop staff to enable fulfilment of role responsibilities.
