Delaware North Australia is hiring casual Commis Chef's to join our team on-site at the Adelaide Airport.
As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create dishes that make a lasting impression.

What you will do?
Prepar
e
a range of
dishes
in a high-volume production setting
Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
Execute food preparation tasks,
showcasing
expertise




in food presentation
Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
Ensure
HACCP and
WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
including
conducting temperature and quality checks and effectively managing cross-contamination
More about you
Previous
experience as a
Commis
Chef is
and proven experience in an a' la carte restaurant or function service is preferred
Solid background in kitchen operations
Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
and a Food Safety certificate
,
or willing to obtain at onboarding
A passion for food and creative flair
Demonstrated
track record
meeting financial targets for food and
labor
costs
