Graphic Designer / Illustrator: Freelance, with a path to ongoing (Melbourne)
Good Measure is looking for a local designer and illustrator for ad hoc projects to start with.
For the right person, this will grow into an ongoing role as the go-to in-house designer.
The goal is to build a long-term relationship with one person who knows the brand inside out rather than pass work around.
Key responsibilities
Create monthly DJ and event posters for print and social media
Design information posts and notices, such as hiring calls, maintenance updates, special trading hours and activations
Produce illustration and graphics for merchandise and collateral, such as mugs, glassware, packaging and signage
Develop other brand pieces as they come up, such as menus, social templates and in-venue displays
Work confidently within the brand toolkit while bringing your own craft and ideas
About you
Proven ability to work within an existing brand identity and stay true to it




Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Illustration skills, both hand-drawn and digital
Experience preparing print-ready files, such as for posters, packaging, and printing on glassware and ceramics
Organised, reliable and on time, meeting deadlines and communicating clearly when things change
Melbourne-based, able to visit the venue, check print proofs and meet in person

Valuable Measure is a café and bar in Carlton, Melbourne, open seven days a week from morning until late.
With a strong community focus, we serve Carlton locals, university students, tourists and people from all walks of life.
Later this year we're launching our rebrand, and with our new brand identity in place, we're looking for someone who can bring it to life across everything we put out.
