Join the dedicated team atmecwacare Long Gully,a 52-bed residential aged care facility located inBendigo.TheReception/Administration Officerwill be responsible for providing courteous reception and administrative support to one facility and will act as the first point of contact for clients, residents and staff.
This role will also be responsible for rostering of staff across one facility and relief rostering of staff across the five mecwacare residential facilities when required.
You will also support the Facility Manager with a range of administrative duties and specific projects and will play an active role in supporting the continued growth and expansion of the facility.

About the role:
APart-timeopportunity to join our welcoming residential home inBendigo (Long Gully)
Between Monday- Friday| 52 hours per fortnight | As the facility expands, there is potential for this role to increase to 5 days per week from around February.
Accessible by Bendigo local bus services, with bus stops within walking distance of the facility.
Essential:
Demonstrated previousreception and administrative experience, preferably within the Aged Care or Residential Services sector.
Demonstrated experience in staff rostering within a busy workplace, with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing operational requirements.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills including experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as fast and accurate typing.
A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to use initiative, anticipate requirements and respond promptly to changing priorities.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
Experience using Human force and/or Workday is desirable, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use rostering and workforce management systems.
Desirable:
Formal qualifications relevant to the administration (e.g. Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent) or qualifications in Management, Health, or a related discipline.
Previous experience working in, or an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the issues relating to services for older people.
Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care funding and legislation.
Experience supporting a facility through growth, expansion or change.
