The Opportunity…

Due to continued growth, a six month assignment has become available for a Collections Officer to join their collaborative and high-performing team. Reporting to the Collections Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing a portfolio of overdue consumer mortgage accounts while contributing to the success of the broader collections function.
Your responsibilities will include:
Proactively contacting customers to recover outstanding debts while maintaining a qualified and empathetic approach
Negotiating and establishing sustainable payment arrangements tailored to individual customer circumstances
Monitoring and maintaining ongoing payment plans to ensure compliance




Liaising with various internal stakeholders to solve customer queries

To thrive in this role, you'll bring experience, resilience, and a customer first mindset. The ideal candidate will have:
At least 12 months experience in collections within the financial services sector
Previous exposure to overdue mortgage accounts highly regarded, but not essential
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations professionally
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A results driven approach with a focus on compliance and customer care
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
