Salary: $71,228 - $80,059 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
38 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with a 9-day fortnight
Located at Artie Smith Oval, Bomaderry

About the Role
This position coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Shoalhaven Community & Recreation Precinct (SCaRP), including Artie Smith Oval, the Croquet Club and Indoor Sports Centre grounds. You'll lead a small team responsible for turf and grounds maintenance, sports field presentation and precinct operations, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard for the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supervising day-to-day grounds and precinct operations
Preparing and maintaining turf cricket wickets and sports turf areas
Developing and implementing annual turf management programs
Overseeing irrigation, machinery maintenance and pest control activities
Ensuring Council assets are maintained to a high standard within available resources
Operating specialised plant and equipment safely and effectively
Delivering high-quality services in line with established standards and programs

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
Trade Certificate in Sports Turf Management or Equivalent Qualification
Current White Card - General Construction Induction Card (Safework NSW)
MR licence
Previous experience as a Curator or in Sports Turf Management
Current Class C Driver's Licence
Proof of right to work in Australia
