(Workshop-based with occasional site work)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Industrial Blaster and Painter to join our busy workshop team.
You will be responsible for surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and applying industrial-grade protective coatings to structural steel, machinery, and fabricated components
Key Responsibilities
Perform surface preparation and safe operation of abrasive and sandblasting equipment
Mix and apply industrial coatings such as epoxies and 2-pack polyurethanes using airless and conventional spray equipment
Operate a forklift safely to move materials, steel, and equipment around the workshop




Inspect finished surfaces to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturer specifications
Maintain blasting and painting equipment and keep a clean and secure working environment
Requirements
Minimum 2 years proven experience in industrial sandblasting and spray painting
Current valid High Risk Work Forklift Licence LF
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Commitment to workplace health and safety and proper PPE compliance
Current drivers licence and reliable transport
