Oakhill College is an Independent Catholic Secondary School in the Lasallian tradition, located in Castle Hill, NSW. The role
The College is seeking a Drama Teacher to play a vital role in fostering students creativity, confidence, communication skills, and appreciation of the performing arts. Working with students across Stages 4 to 6, the successful applicant will deliver engaging and innovative Drama programs that inspire a love of theatre and performance. The ability to teach and additional subject is essential, preferably HSIE or Religion.
In addition to holding a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation, the successful candidates will be able to:
Teach Drama across Stages 4 to 6, fostering student engagement and creative expression.
Demonstrated involvement in planning and delivering theatrical productions.
Assess, monitor, provide feedback on, and report student progress and achievement.
Develop and implement curriculum programs and assessments across a range of stages (preferred but not essential).
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support student learning and College wide initiatives.
Confidently implement new syllabus and curriculum requirements.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Use contemporary pedagogical practices, differentiated teaching strategies, and innovative resources to maximise student engagement and outcomes.

Build positive and respectful relationships with both male and female students, with an understanding of the educational needs and developmental stages of boys, particularly in Stages 4-6.
