The College has significant numbers of new and recent arrivals students. EAL is offered as an alternative stream to English at Years 7 - 10. This position includes teaching in the EAL program and providing small group and individual support programs for students transitioning from the Western English Language Centre.
Applications are invited from passionate and committed EAL teachers to support the learning and settlement of our new and recently arrived students. Our school is a culturally and linguistically rich and diverse Catholic school community.
This is an ongoing teaching position, starting in January ****.
The College has grown from five to six streams over the last four years due to increased enrolment demand but continues to be a relatively small secondary school, where each student and staff member is known, valued and connected.
