BJT Legal is a well-established Victorian law firm with a team of 30 dedicated professionals, committed to delivering exceptional client service across a range of practice areas. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and client-focused lawyer to join our Family Law team.
About the Role n
Working closely with the Director who leads our Family Law practice, you will provide high-quality advice and representation across a broad range of family law matters, including:

Divorce and separation matters
n
Parenting and children's matters
n
Property and financial settlements
n
Family violence intervention orders
n
Court proceedings and dispute resolution
n
Mediation and negotiated settlements
n
n
This role offers the opportunity to manage your own files with autonomy while benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team.
About You n
n
A qualified Australian lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE in Family Law
n
Compassionate, empathetic and able to build trusted relationships with clients during challenging times
n
A strong communicator with excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
n
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
n




Confident managing matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
n
Looking for a long-term career within a supportive and progressive regional practice
n
While our preference is for a full-time, experienced Family Lawyer, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right applicant.
