As our WHS Administration Officer, you will:
n
n
Be a friendly first point of contact for routine WHS and staff wellbeing enquiries, referring more complex matters when needed.
n
Provide day-to-day administrative support across WHS, wellbeing and safety activities, and other tasks as reasonably requested.
n
Keep our WHS systems, registers, records and documentation accurate, organised and up to date.
n
Assist with incident, hazard and corrective action administration, including monitoring and following up outstanding actions.
n
Help coordinate workplace inspections, emergency preparedness, fire safety and contractor WHS documentation.
n
Provide administrative support for workers' compensation, rehabilitation and return-to-work activities.
n
Assist with coordinating WHS inductions, training and wellbeing activities and maintaining completion records.
n
Compile WHS information and prepare routine reports, spreadsheets and summaries using established processes and templates.
n
Provide administrative support for WHS projects and continuous improvement activities.
n
Plan and organise your workload, manage competing priorities and complete allocated activities within agreed timeframes.

Mandatory Requirements
n
n
Relevant qualification in Workplace Health & Safety, business administration, or a related discipline,
and/or relevant experience in a WHS or administrative support environment.
n
Basic knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, codes, standards and of the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act and the RRTW process.
n
Practical understanding of risk management principles and the ability to support hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting, and WHS record-keeping processes in accordance with established procedures.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn and use information systems.
n
Ability to work well as part of an innovative team as well as work independently as required.
n
Ability to adapt to changing work priorities, processes, and operational requirements.
n
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
n
Be adaptable and adaptable in approach and feel comfortable working with ambiguity.
n
Your own registered vehicle and current driver license
n
Be eligible for, or hold a current Working with Children Blue Card
n
Be eligible for, or hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Card.
n
