About the Role:
Echuca Regional Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centred dental care.
You'll play a vital role in assisting clinicians across all stages of treatment while contributing to improved oral health outcomes for our community.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare treatment rooms and support clinicians with instruments and materials
Clean, sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards
Assist with dental x-rays and patient preparation
Support reception and administrative tasks as required
Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems
Manage stock levels and ensure clinical areas are well equipped
Qualifications/experiencerequired:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent)
Experience providing chair-side assistance
Strong understanding of infection control and dental practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic computer skills and experience with dental software
Ability to support reception and administrative duties
