About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven RecruitmentOfficer to join our Human Resources team based atour Biloela site in Queensland.
This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process ofapprentices,trainees,production and maintenance roles, with a focus on creating anengaging employee onboarding experience.
Reporting to our Human Resources Manager, you willidentify and address the workforce needs by planning andcoordinatingrecruitmentactivities.
This includes managing applicant platforms,buildingrelationshipswith candidates and hiring managers alike, ensuring consistencyacross candidate management and the maintenance and confidentiality ofinformation and records.
Overall responsibilities include:
Managinginternal recruitment processes, including talent attractionactivities(advertisementdrafting, posting), phone screening, candidateselection,interviewing,reference checking through to employee onboarding.
Coordinatingpre-employment activities,
such as pre-employment medical assessments andVEVO compliance checks.
Preparingletters of offer and onboarding documentation.
Assistingwith planning and coordination of local recruitment campaigns andattraction strategies.
Buildingstrong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Supportingthe Human Resources team as required.
About You
It is essential that you have thefollowingexperience/skills:
Previousexperience in a similar recruitment role.
Strongplanning and organisational skills with the ability to managecompetingpriorities.
Provenability to provide high-level customer service.
Passionateand dedicated work ethic with a 'can-do' attitude and acontinuousimprovementmindset.
Q-fevervaccinated (or willing to get).
Qualificationsin Business/Human Resources/Training or other related disciplines.
Volume/bulkrecruitmentand assessment centre experience.
Experiencewith an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
