About the Role
Sydney Metropolitan International College (SMIC) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Specialist to develop and deliver marketing initiatives that support student recruitment, brand awareness and business growth across domestic and international markets.

The successful candidate will play an key role in promoting SMIC's vocational education and training programs, strengthening relationships with education agents and recruitment partners, and using market and enrolment data to improve marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities
•Develop and implement marketing strategies to support student recruitment and enrolment objectives across domestic, onshore international and offshore markets.
•Plan and coordinate integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, social media, email, education agents, industry networks and student recruitment events.
•Research education markets, competitor activities and emerging trends to identify opportunities for student recruitment and market expansion.
•Monitor enquiries, leads, applications and enrolment data to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
•Develop and maintain productive relationships with education agents, recruitment representatives and other relevant partners in Australian and overseas markets.
•Coordinate the development of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, digital content, social media materials and other promotional resources.




•Manage and monitor digital and social media activities to strengthen SMIC's visibility and engagement with prospective students.
•Organise and support participation in education exhibitions, recruitment events, information sessions and other promotional activities.
•Prepare regular marketing reports analysing campaign results, lead generation, enrolment trends and return on marketing investment.
•Provide market insights and recommendations to senior management regarding target markets, promotional activities and student recruitment opportunities.
•Assist in preparing marketing plans that align with SMIC's strategic objectives, student recruitment targets and applicable education sector requirements.
•Work closely with admissions, academic and management teams to ensure marketing campaigns accurately represent SMIC's courses, student services and enrolment processes.

Qualification
•Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related discipline.

Skills and Requirements
•Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in marketing, preferably within the education, international education, VET or student recruitment sector.
•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
•Experience with market research, marketing analytics and performance reporting.
•Experience working with education agents, recruitment partners or other stakeholder networks will be highly regarded.
•Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, email marketing and content development.
•Excellent analytical and market research skills, with the ability to interpret marketing and enrolment data.
