nRole Overview: n
n
As the HR Administration, you will provide essential HR function for the operational workforce, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
n
n
This role will support the full employee lifecycle and play a key role in ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and up-to-date awards.
n
n
You will work closely with management to provide practical HR advice, support workforce planning and organisational development, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR work systems and processes.
n
nWhat You'll Be Doing: n
n
n
n
Provide end-to-end HR support across recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
n
n
Maintain accurate HR records and systems (HRIS/ payroll integration)
n
n
Interpret and apply modern awards, employment legislation and other relevant legislation
n
n
Support management employee relation matters, including investigations and performance management
n
n
Assist with policy development, implementation, and compliance audits
n
n
Coordinate training, inductions,
and workforce development initiatives
n
n
Support payroll and timekeeping processes in collaboration with finance / payroll items
n
n
Track licences, competencies, and training requirements
n
n
Prepare HR reports, letters, and general correspondence
n
n
Ensure all documentation aligns with company policies and WHS requirements
n
n
Contribute to HR projects, including system implementations and process improvements
n
n
General office and HR administrative duties as required
n
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of work systems and workplace culture
n
n
n
nWhat We're Looking For: n
n
n
n
Previous experience in a HR administration role (preferred)
n
n
Working knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards (preferred)
n
n
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
n
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
n
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
n
n
Professional approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality
n
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
n
n
Experience with HR and payroll systems (MYOB Advanced, HR3, or similar) (preferred)
n
n
Experience in construction or civil industry (advantageous)
n
n
Ability to apply initiative and self-drive to achieve goals within time constraints
n
n
