This is a chance to join a high-performing engineering team working on a
large-scale information integration program
, where secure engineering practices, quality delivery, and modern tooling are non-negotiable.
What you'll be doing n
You'll work across the full SDLC and contribute to design and delivery of secure, enterprise-grade solutions. Responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading and contributing to
solution design, prototyping, and engineering approach selection
n
Translating requirements into technical deliverables in collaboration with
systems/engineering
stakeholders
n
Hands-on
development, unit/integration testing, and support through release/deployment




n
Promoting and embedding
engineering best practices
(secure coding, quality, CI/CD)
n
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where needed
n
What we're looking for n
To be successful, you'll bring strong software engineering fundamentals plus solid delivery experience in complex environments, including:
n
n
Strong commercial experience with
Java
and
JavaScript
n
Experience building
API services
and working with enterprise integration patterns
n
Working knowledge of
DevOps / CI/CD
, plus tools such as
Docker
and
Kubernetes
n
Experience with Agile delivery (Agile / Kanban)
n
Comfort working with tools like
Jira
and
Confluence
n
Exposure to
geospatial systems
is highly regarded
n
Eligibility (essential): n

Australian Citizen
n
Active TSPV clearance
(this is non-negotiable for this program)
