Central Highlands Regional Council is currently recruiting for a Road Construction Inspector to join the infrastructure team.
n
The Road Construction Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and reporting on roadconstruction works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, standards, quality
n requirements, safety obligations and contractual requirements.
n
This role works a 9/5 roster and the successful applicant will be required to camp.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in Civil Construction Management.
n
Experience in Quality Assurance and Contract Administration.
n
Knowledge of road construction plant and equipment operations, specifications, and limitations.
n
Knowledge of Austroads and TMR standards.
n
Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver's licence.
n
General Construction Induction (White card).
n
Traffic Management Implementation (or ability to obtain).
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to working autonomously and within a diverse technical team setting.
n
n
