Ironbark Training is seeking an experienced
Transmission Lineworker / Trainer & Assessor
to join our growing transmission training team.
n
We are looking for someone with substantial hands‐on experience in the
transmission overhead industry
who can bring real‐world knowledge into vocational training and assessment.
n
Ironbark delivers training and assessment across major transmission and infrastructure projects throughout NSW, including Certificate II and Certificate III ESI transmission qualifications, high‐risk training and Verification of Competency (VOC) programs.
About the role n
The position will involve:
n
n
Delivering and assessing
UET***** Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead
n
Supporting delivery of
UET***** Certificate II in Transmission Line Construction
n
Conducting workplace and practical assessments
n
Reviewing workplace evidence and trainee logbooks
n
Conducting VOC assessments across transmission activities and equipment
n
Working with apprentices, experienced lineworkers and project personnel
n




Maintaining high standards of assessment evidence and RTO compliance
n
Working both from our
Wagga Wagga training facility and on major project sites
n
What we're looking for n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Certificate III qualification and extensive industry experience as a
Transmission Lineworker
n
Strong practical knowledge of transmission line construction, maintenance, stringing and associated plant and equipment
n
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
, or an equivalent/current training and assessment credential
n
Solid understanding of competency‐based training and assessment
n
Excellent documentation and compliance standards
n
Ability to work confidently with apprentices and experienced industry personnel
n
Willingness to travel to project sites when required
n
n
